"For my first collection I saw an exhibition on Edgar Degas. I love bows, and it made sense for many reasons:
For me, women are a gift of life and we always dress a gift with a bow.
• It's the big velvet bow that I wore in my hair when I was little,
• I love the bow ties men wear
• It reminds me of clowns
• It's the bow tied in the back of little girls' dresses
• We spend our lives untying bows
A bow can have different sizes, the bigger it is, the funnier it is. It adorns a leather outfit, tone-on-tone or lurex, in the same fabric, in satin for the evening...."
